How much does it cost to place an ad with Freeway?It’s FREE! There is no charge to place a Basic ad. However, if you would like your ad to really stand out you can choose to upgrade your advert to a Featured Ad, this will appear at the top of its category. Alternatively upgrade your advert to a Hompage Featured Ad which will appear at the top of our hompage as well as at the top of its respective category.
How do I place an ad with Freeway?
Start by deciding which category your ad should be displayed in, once you have chosen a category you will be able to enter details of your advert. If you have not used Freeway before you'll also be asked for some contact details.
Will my ads appear in any papers?
Yes, Freeway forms the classified section of our Free local sports magazine BallsMania which is distribute throughout the local community, this increases readership and improves your chances of selling your items.
How many Freeway Ads can I list?
You may place as many ads as you wish, but please do not list the same item multiple times or your account will be suspended.
How long will my Freeway ads run for?
All ads run for 30 days, after which you will be given the option to renew your ad. If you wish to either remove or upgrade your ads at any point during this time, you can do so via My Account.
Why isn't Place an ad working?
The 'Place an ad' process uses cookies to work, so you will need to ensure that you have cookies enabled in your browser.
Managing Your Responses
How do buyers contact me?
There are two different ways that buyers can contact you. The first and simplest way a buyer can contact you is by telephone.
The second way is by email, if you choose to be contacted by email. Freeway does not publish or give out your email address, but a buyer can use the site to send an email to you directly.

Why can't I log in?
If you are experiencing problems logging in to Freeway, you should first verify that you are using the correct password. You can do this from the Lost Password page. Secondly, ensure that you have cookies enabled in your browser.
Managing Your Freeway Ads
Can I add a picture?
Yes, you can add as many images as you like to your adverts either when you place your adverts or within ‘My Account’. Go to My Account and find the ads you want to edit in the list. Next to the item, click the Edit link and follow the on-screen instructions.
How can I change a picture?
You can change a picture by first removing the picture you want to replace, and then adding a new one. Go to My Accounts and find the ad you want to edit in the list. Next to the item, click the Edit link and Add / Remove Pictures then follow the on-screen instructions.
How do I change the price of something I'm advertising?
If your item isn't generating much interest, it may be that you have set the price too high. You can change the price or any other part of your adverts at any time after the ad has gone live. Go to My Account and find the item you want to edit in the list. Next to the item, click the Edit link.
I've sold my item! How do I remove my ads?
Removing sold items is easy. Go to My Account and find the item you want to remove in the list. Next to the item, click the Delete link and you ad will be removed from the site.
Managing Your Details
How can I update my email address?
For added security you cannot update your email address, if you require a change to your email address please contact our administration team at admin@Freeway.co.uk.
I've forgotten my password, what should I do?
If you've forgotten your password we can send it to you by email. The password will be sent to this address. If you no longer have access to the email address you signed up with, the answer is to create a new account with a current email address.
Why hasn't my password reminder arrived?
If you've asked to be reminded of your password but the email hasn't arrived, it's likely that the email may have been stopped by a junk mail filter. As the reminder email is automatically generated, some email software may mistake it for junk mail and move it to a Junk or Trash folder. If you have a Junk or Trash folder, check for he password reminder there.
How can I change my password?
If you wish to change your password to something more memorable (or if you think someone else may have discovered your password), you can change it at any time. Log in and visit your Profile page, where your password can be changed.
